Programs to convert:

1. Open shoes in the program S3PE. Select all the geom files and img and export them in a convenient place for us.
Next, open the Sims 4 Studio, choosing CAS to Create 3D object, Select the shoes from the base game, which will be our converted shoes - Give the name and save the file.

2. Open TS4 CAS Tools. In the Clone Package Editor , click Select and find the file that you created in the Sims 4 Studio. For the convenience of further work, I immediately removed the Shadow map, Specular and Normals, so they do not interfere. To do this, you need to click on the image Shadow/Specular/Bump Map and in the window that opens, click Make Blank - Save - Commit Changes.

3. In TS4 CAS Tools open the tab Mesh Tools, press Select, choose the largest size mesh that we exported from S3PE and set parameters such as the third picture.

4. Open Clone Package Editor - Mesh Manager. In a field of View selectable by Meshpart in lod0_0 import our Sims 4 mesh, which we received in step 3. Click Commit Changes and save our Package.

5. Open in Sims 4 Studio our file and export lod 0 in Blender.

6. Open Blender. In edit mode press P select the item - All Loose Parts. Our mesh is divided into many parts. Delete the mesh of the foot and leaving only the shoes. Now we need to get back to combine the mesh into one. In object mode, select all meshes with the a button A and hold the keys CTRL + J

7. Now we need to make UV - map. Go to UV Editing. Our shoes must be in edit mode. Open the image of a character Sims 4. I use the image from @spectacledchic-sims4 [x]. Move to the area Extra Feet ( note: if you convert, for example, boots, carry a scan directly on the feet ) our UV - map with the help of auxiliary keys: S - increase/ decrease size, G - move, R - rotate. If we, for example, press the S key and select one of the axes - X, Y, Z, then the edit will take place only on the chosen axis. Export UV - map to edit textures.

8. Open Paint.net or Photoshop. I personally at this stage it is more convenient to work in this program. Open the file Sims 3 textures and our UV-map. Customize the texture at the desired size and location. Save. This is our Sims 4 texture.

9. Add our texture in Blender. For this we need to go to the Default window, open the window to the left of our texture and in the texture tab to the right to replace it with a new one.

10. We need to add a mesh toe Sims 4. Export it using Sims 4 Studio and attach to the mesh shoes.

11. Now we need to adjust the mesh of shoes under the foot with the help of auxiliary keys ( see details in the video ). You should get output similar to this like the picture above.

12. Next you need to do the binding. Choose mesh shoes, goes into the Weight Paint. Deleted Sims 3 bindings, you can find them in the tab on the right and using the clamping key Shift shifting weight from toes to the shoes. Combine separate meshes into one, in object mode allocated meshes with the A and hold CTRL + J and save the file Blender. We import our Blender file in Sims 4 Studio and save.

13. Open the file in TS4 CAS Tools, go to the Clone Package Editor - Mesh Manager. In a field of View selectable by Meshpart and export lod0_0 format Sims 3

14. Go to the Mesh Tools window, add the exported mesh and set the parameters like on the picture. This is to ensure that the shoes moved along with the sliders. If you skip this point, the shoes will be without movement. Then import the resulting mesh in lod0_0 in the Clone Package Editor - Mesh Manager and the rest lods. Save.

15. This item I will not write, if that, watch the video. There are many other tutorials on this subject. Our shoes are ready, only add the colors to it. It is your fantasy and imagination. Import colors in Sims 4 Studio and save the file. Our shoes are ready. Check it in the game and see the result.
